Pamgarh is one of the 36 forts in Chhattisgarh, India. Currently, it serves as both a legislative assembly constituency and a tehsil (administrative division). It has became Nagar Panchayat (municipal council) this year i.e. 2025.
State Highway 13 passes through the center of Pamgarh, and the fort of the king can be seen from the highway. The administrative responsibilities of Pamgarh are overseen by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Revenue), Tehsildar (Executive Magistrate), and the Nagar Panchayat Head.
